Description
Only 400 cases of this bronze medal winning wine (2007 Ontario Wine Awards) were made. A blend of red grapes including Shiraz (14%), Franc (26%) and Sauv (60%) that were allowed a few hours of skin contact to give them that nice rosé colour. The nose says strawberry, while the palate says dryer, with citrus, cranberry and pomegranate; chilled, this is really a beauty of a summer sipper with enough tart acidity to cut the summer heat and quench your thirst. Don’t wait for summer to be over to try this wine; if you are late in getting to the winery have no fear, Vintages has picked up a few cases for release this fall.
