Description
Later this year (September 2007), The Grange will once again get this wine into Vintages; the 2004 version was the first Prince Edward County wine to find its way onto LCBO shelves … and well, they've done it again. This time out, the wine shows lots of black fruit, cinnamon and cassis on the nose. The seven months in primarily new French oak has given the wine some very rich firm tannins, with lots of oak and black fruit (read: cassis) on the palate. Let this one settle down for a year and you'll have something wonderful to share with friends over a burger or seasoned pork sandwich.
