Description
Mastronardi is another new winery out in the Lake Erie North Shore area, and proves once again why this region of Ontario is a gem for wine lovers; the wines coming out of this region are truly wonderful. This Cabernet Franc shows some raspberry and cherry on the nose, but the more predominant aromas are of the vegetal variety: green pepper, celery and something leafy. The leafy also translates slightly on the tongue, but you’ll find the blackberries and currants more assertive. There is also a minimum of tannin, which makes this a treasure for those looking to drink it up right now. Recommended with vegetarian fare.
