Fielding Estate Winery 2005 Chardonnay Musque

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Another fine offering in the new 2005 line of whites from Fielding; grapefruit and orange on the nose, with mild floral tones. In the mouth it’s light, fresh and smooth - tastes of pineapple with just a drop of lemon juice and some butterscotch/caramel notes in the back palate, all ending off nicely with a medium finish. Not thick and syrupy in any way, but the wine does seem to coat the mouth for a prolonged enjoyment. Bring on the hot weather, that dock by the water is calling out to me, and I have the right bottle to bring along.
