Description
Here’s a beautifully coloured, tasty, medium-sweety that’s perfect for the patio: before dinner, as an aperitif, or even after dinner, as you sit and listen to the crickets. As with most fruit wines, this one is not taxing on the senses; it’s apple-raspberry wine and the taste and smell are what you’d expect. But there is an interesting element that makes this wine even more fun. The smell is dominated by the apples with the seemingly passive and subservient raspberries taking a back seat; but on the flipside, the taste is the complete opposite – full on sweet luscious raspberries with the apples adding some tartness to the finish. For a change, kick your bland rose to the curb, for this smooth and easy wine, that’s not too sweet and ideal for summer, that’s not too sweet.
