Description
A blend of Ontario grapes (Cabernet Franc 30%) and Washington State grapes (Cab Sauv 35% and Merlot 35%); this non-VQA blend has great cherries and blackberries on the nose, but it’s the taste that really stands out. There’s a sweet mouth entry of cherry, red licorice and vanilla, followed by a dry finish where blackberries and cassis take over just before you swallow. Definitely a wonderful easy drinking quaffer that goes great on it’s own or with anything off the BBQ. And come the fall, it’ll be available at the winery and on the general list of the LCBO.
