Thirteenth Street 2006 Chardonnay Musque

Hits:258
Rating:Nº votes
Date added;:21.Oct.2007
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  “What’s a Chardonnay Musk?” I heard someone say, “it doesn’t smell like musk.” No in fact it smells like peaches, sweet pear and a touch of floral. It doesn’t taste musky either, though it’s drier than you’d assume, given the nose: tart green apple and white peach. As for the name, it’s pronounced “Moose-K”, and it’s a clone/natural crossing (debate still on-going) of Chardonnay … let’s call it the more aromatic and sweeter cousin, okay? It could even be the darling of your next party – it’s the wine everyone will love.
