Description
This wine is contrary enough to have the words on the label printed backwards, but pleasant enough to be another “fun” addition to the maniac line. Andrzej Lipinski, the winemaker for this project, is known for making good white wines – he did it for DeSousa, Fielding and now the Megalo himself, John Howard. This Sauv Blanc has hay, grapefruit and lime on the nose, while the mouth plays guessing games as to what flavours you’re gonna get next in and amongst all that good acidity. Light pear and apple are at the forefront, entering the mouth on a sweetish note; but on its way through it picks up the dryness factor and ends with a kick. Absolutely lovely and great balance.
