Description
An absolutely delicious wine from one of Niagara’s newest wineries in their inaugural vintage. This Select Late Harvest is the second pressing from their icewine grapes, so it has all the lush flavours you’d expect, but only half the sweetness. The nose draws you in with candied fruit like apples, pears, apricots and peaches – but it’s in the mouth where this wine really sells itself. Dried and honeyed fruit: apricots, pineapple, peach, pear; deliciously sweet apple and so much more; you could keep tasting and keep finding new and additional flavours – capping it all off with a finish that’s long and beautiful. I found it hard to put the glass down before I was picking it up to smell and taste it again. I probably could have gotten away with one word for this review: wow! The rest was all just preamble.
