Coyote's Run 2005 Off-Dry Vidal

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  You know Vidal as the icewine grape, just recently somebody commented to me, "you don't usually see Vidal outside of ice wine, but I like it as a table wine. " Well sure you do see it as a table wine, it's just sometimes labeled with a proprietary name like So-and-So's White. Coyote's Run chose to call their's by the grape’s name in an effort to keep it simple. I find that Vidal exhibits a certain amount of Riesling qualities to it, such as peach and apple on the nose with a bit of sweetness. This time, the Vidal's fruits range into the tropical department with pineapple, kiwi and other tropical fruits, while the flavors are tropical in nature with a surprising banana and luscious peach being the most obvious. Quite delicious.
