Description
This is the second wine I have tried from the Ice House winery in Niagara (a new winery whole sole purpose is the making of icewine) and I have to admit they’re making some damn-fine ones (they’d better considering that’s all they make). The nose is strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate, while in the mouth it’s red fruit dominant (as expected) with tart strawberries fighting it out for flavour supremacy with ripe raspberries … giving the full effect of a red berry jam. Pair with toast (of the Melba variety).
