Creekside Estate 2006 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Hmm, how do you make the ultimate fruity early drinking wine a Reserve? Well, if you’re Creekside you give it the old Fume-try (stick it in barrels for 9 months’ll do quite nicely thank you). The nose is grassy, as Savvy B. is apt to be, but the barrel has left behind cinnamon and vanilla to smell. In the mouth you’ll find the typical grapefruit character of Sauv Blanc and the barreling deposits vanilla on the tongue. Quite lovely.
