Black Prince Winery 2006 Reserve Cabernet Franc

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  This wine placed seventh overall in the OntarioWineReview Cabernet Franc Challenge (Reserve category) – up against some pretty stiff competition, I was very impressive by the outcome for this County winery. Now to be honest these aren’t just county grapes, some of them do come from Niagara to help optimize what the county is growing, but the winemaking is all Prince Edward County. There’s a steady seam of cherry throughout this tasty little offering, with a bit of anise on the smooth finish.
