Description
The first thing you'll notice about this wine is the golden hue it has as you pour it into your glass; have no fear, the wine isn’t over the hill it's just been aged in oak, which has added a depth to the wine, not surprising considering it spent 8 months in its wooded home. When you get your nose into the glass, that notion of oaking is definitely confirmed, with vanilla and holiday spices lovingly wrapping up the fruit smell of apricots. The taste is similar to the nose, but instead of holiday spices, you get a smooth butteryness, the apricots turn to dried apples and the vanilla, well the vanilla is a constant continuing right on through. Smooth, plush, easy drinking and delicious. Price: $25.00
