Description
This is quite a bargain wine if you think about it, and one of my favourite Chardonnay’s from Niagara – it’s one that will age gracefully over the next five years, yet tastes great right now. The oaky-butteryness is there, but it isn’t so in-your-face that it’s like chewing on a stave, and the fruit is both on the nose and in the mouth. But what really makes this Chardonnay good is the vanilla-butterscotch finish – ooo boy, just like dessert – but not as sweet, in fact its dry, never thought butterscotch could be dry, but it is. Price: $19.95
