Kacaba 2006 Sur Lie Horizon Series Chardonnay

Hits:105
Rating:Nº votes
Date added;:07.May.2008
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Looking for big oak taste without the use of oak, well you’ve found it. Kacaba brings out lots of fun sweet flavours in this dry sipping Chardonnay while the resting on lees adds more depth and complexity to the wine – giving barrel flavours without the use of oak. The nose has plenty of vanilla and caramel, which are wrapped around overripe banana nuances. The taste brings buttery-toffee onto the tongue, with unripe tropical fruit, wrapped up in a vanilla blanket. I didn’t find the acidity too high, but the taste definitely has fun written all over it. Price: $15.95
