Description
In 2007, wineries in Ontario really did have the pick of the bunch philosophy when it came time to make wines. It was such a beautiful growing season and what’s more a fantastic harvest – meaning the weather co-operated. In off years, you make your rosé from what didn’t make it … this year you picked something (anything) and made what you wanted – it’s a nice position to be in. Henry of Pelham decided Cabernet Sauvignon would make an interesting pink wine – and they were right. Intense red berries with definitive tart raspberries flavours are the hallmarks of this wine – it’s light yet packs a summery kick in each glass – delicious finish too. Price: $14.95
