DescriptionDescription  As the ’05 reds really begin to role out, you really should be looking to snap them up. With all the hype and talk about 2007, everybody seems to be forgetting that aside from a short-crop, 2005 was also an excellent year, especially for reds. This Cabernet/Merlot blend surely does show off the vintage in a good light. 73% Cabernet Franc, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 11% Merlot which spent one full year in oak; the results are red fruit, plum and spice on the nose – big black fruit, spicy, oaky flavours in the mouth with a whack of tannins and a great finish; all wrapped up in a pretty package, and the price, well I think that’s pretty too, especially for what you’re getting here. Price: $16.75
