Description
A few years ago Creekside’s winemaking team of Rob Power and Craig McDonald decided to make some Riesling as an experiment from these very same Butler’s Grant Vineyard berries … at that time they thought, “if it’s good we’ll do it again some day”. Well that some day happened sooner than expected, the 2005 was a huge success and so in 2006 they re-did their experiment and lo and behold they had another hit on their hands. Now it’s time for the 2007 edition – a medium-dry wine with lemon, lime, peach, a touch of mineral and a bit of talc on the flavour. Nice and refreshing; as a good Riesling should be at this young age. Price: $15.95
