Colchester Ridge 2007 Riesling

Hits:1058
Rating:3,00 (1 Votes)
Date added;:10.Sep.2008
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  For years, Riesling has been the purview of Niagara, but the folks in the Lake Erie region aren’t taking that lying down. There are quite a few wineries trying their hand at Riesling and making a pretty good case for it in the southern most reaches of Ontario. Colchester Ridge, fresh off their gold medal at the Ontario Wine Awards for Chardonnay, tries their hand at this hot white. It has a nose reminiscent of under-ripe peaches with a very peachy and lemonade-like flavour; good finish too. Price: $13.95
