Description
Harvey and Alma Hollingshead are not just convinced that Cabernet Franc is Ontario’s grape – but that it is their bread and butter grape. Erie Shore makes at least 3 different kinds of Cab Franc a year: a regular, a reserve and a rosé. Their Summer Sun is made from 100% Cabernet Franc. Lots of red berry, especially strawberry greet the nose, with a cranberry, citrus and light strawberry palate. What’s more, this stuff can age, at least two or three years, I’m still testing on past vintages to see if it’ll go longer. Stay tuned. Price: $12.65
