Description
Most people don’t think of adding a wood component to Gewurztraminer, but winemaker Darryl Brooker thought putting a 10% barrel fermented, 5 months aged, component back into his Gewurzt might just add a little something-something; and he was right. A nose ripe with Gewurzt character like perfume and floral notes also comes across with an interesting and enjoyable spiced-orange; the palate has a peppery-spice with a touch of rosyness and floral notes – all of which combine to bring about a medium length finish. Price: $15.95
