Henry of Pelham 2007 Cabernet Franc Icewine

Hits:2170
Rating:5,00 (1 Votes)
Date added;:03.Oct.2008
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Another fine job on one of my favourite styles of icewine, Cabernet Franc. Last year Pelham had a version of this wine that I wanted to “spread on toast”; this year they crank it up another notch. There’s definitely the strawberry jam aspect here, but there is now the added bonus of spice on the palate that brings this wine into the realm of “wow” and “can I have another glass” – which is a rarity with something so sweet. Price: $$39.95 / 200ml
