Stratus 2007 Red Icewine

Hits:391
Rating:3,00 (1 Votes)
Date added;:02.Nov.2008
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  As with most of the wines from Stratus this one takes advantage of the assemblage method used at the winery – that just means they blend grapes instead of sticking with a straight single varietal like Cabernet Sauvignon or Franc. The nose has a smell-all-day-edness to it: spiced strawberry is the most prevalent of the red berry smells in the glass. Then comes the taste, baked and spiced cherries and strawberries along with sing and zing on the tongue … great long finish too. Price: $39.95 – 200ml
NotesNotes  Available at the winery and part of the LCBO Essentials Collections 2008.
