Colio Wines 2007 Lily Pinot Noir

Hits:2084
Rating:Nº votes
Date added;:16.Dec.2008
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Another fine little Cuvee Close sparkler from Colio. This time they use Pinot Noir grapes exclusively giving the wine a beautiful pink hue. Winemaker Tim Reilly also rested the wine on its lees for six months to develop the flavour profile he was looking for. On the nose, there is plenty of strawberry, sour cherry and raspberry; while in the mouth, the strawberry and raspberry reappear with a toasty note. The finish is what really sparkles on this one with a palate refreshing lemon and raspberry. Good bubble at a good price. Price: $16.95
