Jackson-Triggs 2003 Proprietors' GR Brut

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Sparkling wine making is growing in popularity here in Ontario, but most don't have a vintage date, nor are they 5 years old when you can purchase them. This sparkler, J-T's Methode Classique - which means 36 months on lees in bottle - has a beautiful bouquet (seemed only appropriate to use this term) of toasted apple, vanilla and honey notes ... on the palate much of the same with a hint of yeastiness and buttered toast. Very tasty. Price: $24.95 - Rating: ****½
