Inniskillin 2007 Two Vineyard Riesling

Hits:1055
Rating:Nº votes
Date added;:28.Jan.2009
Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  As the name suggests, this wine is sourced from two vineyards … winemaker Bruce Nicholson gets in all kinds of fruit, so he has lots to pick from when he finally decides upon the various blends he is to make. This Riesling is made in an off-dry style with just a hint of sweetness. The nose is florally, with peach blossom notes and lots of mineral. In the mouth you’ll re-find the mineral, but the peach decides to bail in exchange for apple skin and a mac apple finish – good crisp acidity keeps this one humming along nicely. Price: $17.95 – Rating: ***½
