Flat Rock Cellars 2008 Gewurztraminer

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  Gewurztraminer, although one of the harder grape variety names to wrap your tongue around, is making quite a stir in Niagara - it seems to be one of the hot "it" grapes this season. With versions of the wine like this it's hardly any wonder. A nose full of fruit and floral with a bit of a kick: apple-orange peel-rosy and spicy ... a palate that follows similar lines with a kiss of pear sweetness added to the mix. Delicious. Price: $19.95 - Rating: **** ½
