Caroline Cellars 2006 Momentum Enchantment

Author :Michael Pinkus - Grape Guy
DescriptionDescription  This wine won a gold medal at this year’s Ontario Wine Awards for the best Blended White. A mix of Riesling and Gewurztraminer which gives off a wonderful aromatic blend of apple, melon, floral and some peachy sweetness. The flavours don’t exactly follow suit, but they don’t stray far either. Yes there’s peach, but there’s also a grapefruit cocktail sensation and a semi-tart finish which leaves behind a surprising melon aftertaste that lasts a long time and lingers on the cheeks, I like to call it a “sweet-cheek finish”. Price: $12.00 – Rating: ****
