Description
Not many people think about red wine on a hot summer’s day – that’s because people aren’t thinking about the “right” red. You need something in a Beaujolais-style: fresh, vibrant and fruity – something you can chill down and enjoy without feeling guilty about chilling a red. Vineland has just the wine you’re looking for with this 2006 Gamay. This one has gobs of red fruit and when chilled, you can pick out candied cherries and raspberries – fresh, fruity and extremely gulpable, especially chilled – so give it a shot next time you think red is just too darn heavy for this time of year.
