Description
Finally, the wine that won ‘Best Syrah’ in Ontario (at the Ontario Wine Awards) is reaching the market that deserves to taste this wonderful wine. When the wine was entered it was finished but not bottled, because of financial woes being experienced at the winery. Now with those problems behind them Stonechurch can focus on what then winemaker Jamie Evans has made (a good line-up of ’07 reds). Intense blackberries, some floral notes, smoked meat and hints of coffee with great concentration of colour. Delicious and well priced. Price: $19.95 – Rating: ****
