Description
A very interesting Pinot Noir from Prince Edward County and the 2007 vintage; it is unlike any I have tried from this region before … some might think it odd and strange for a Pinot, but I found it’s uniqueness somewhat refreshing. The nose is leathery and raspberry; think of one of those fruit roll-up snacks – one might say that the smell of this wine almost has a texture. The palate delivers what the nose promises: leathery-black raspberry flavours with a good tannin backbone and nice acidity. It’s odd for sure, but welcomingly so. Price: $TBA – Rating: ****
