	Lailey Vineyard 2007 Niagara Peninsula Riesling “Waiter, more wine.” It’s a call heard at every party that going well – and winemaker Derek Barnett’s party must be going exceptionally well – this is his second Riesling so far this year. First came the 2007 Niagara River Riesling, now comes Riesling two – 30% Lailey fruit and the other 70% is a young clone brought in from another grower in Niagara-on-the-Lake. 	Peller Estates 2007 Private Reserve Muscat This is the first time Peller has made this Muscat blend a Private Reserve. You usually find these grapes in their heritage blend white, but in 2007 they lowered the crop size (from 5.5 tons to 4 tons – to the acre) to try and get better quality fruit from the lowly Muscat grapes: Morio and Ottonel … and I think they have succeeded admirably.
