	Vineland 2006 Sauvignon Blanc – Smith Vineyard Part of the four 2006 Sauvignon Blanc series currently available at Vineland … single vineyard sourced Sauv from Niagara-on-the-Lake and all stainless steel fermented and aged; this Sauv Blanc is purely terroir driven. The nose has citrus and some vanilla (?) aromas, but also along for the ride is petrol and ammonia (cat’s pee), both are very subtle but plainly there. 	Peninsula Ridge 2006 Fume Blanc Last year Jean-Pierre won the Ontario Wine Awards Gold medal for his 2005 Fume Blanc (oaked Sauvignon Blanc), he repeated the feat with this ’06 version. This one’s just plain tasty – vanilla and butterscotch mix well with the light fruit and rusty apple; there’s also some citrus bite at the end … for those who like oaked Chardonnay, this might be right up your alley, with a slight jog to the left. 	Rosehall Run 2007 Sullyzwicker Comprising of 59% Erenfelser, 28% Riesling and 13% Muscat Ottonel, this white is a pure patio/poolside pleaser. The nose seems simple enough, with lots of fresh ripe apple and peach aromas; but it’s in the mouth where the wow happens. Pineapple, mangoes and other such tropical fruits accost the tongue – making this one a delicious and pleasant summertime sipper. 	Chateau des Charmes 2006 Gewurztraminer Most Ontario Gewurztraminers fall between $17 and $20 on the price scale, this Chateau des Charmes offering falls at the upper end, but Gewurzt fans will be thrilled by its typicity, how it stays true to form without diverging from what you know and love about Gewurzt.
