	Daniel Lenko 2006 White Cabernet Rosé season is almost upon us, so now’s the time to start thinking about what pink your going to put on the table. This Lenko offering just might be the ticket. The nose and taste match up very well, giving off scents of strawberries and replaying those flavours in the mouth and it continues all the way through to the finish. 	East Dell Estates Winery 2005 Summer Rose The dog days of summer are almost upon us, and you’re going to need something to cool down with on those hot days. Always on the lookout for you, I have found that special something that you’re sure to enjoy on the deck, dock or patio of your choice. This Summer Rose is a blend of everyone’s favourite summer sipper, Riesling (70%), and a light Gamay (30%). 	Jackson-Triggs 2004 Cabernet Franc Rose As everyone knows Roses mean summer – and nothing says summer like this rose from Jackson-Triggs, it practically screams it from the glass. The first thing you’ll notice is the pretty dark salmon colour, due to the 24-hour skin contact. Next, there’s a fantastic nose that’s loaded with strawberry, cotton candy, chocolate cherries and candied-kiwi. This is followed up by a drier taste then what the nose has let on. 	Thirty Bench 2005 Rose Pinot Meunier 1.5 acres of Pinot Meunier are grown at Thirty Bench (heck I think maybe 1.5 acres of Pinot Meunier are grown in Ontario), but the one five combination does not stop there. The grapes have been growing in the “back part of the vineyard” for about 15 years. 	Fielding Estate Winery 2006 Rose Dry “Get back here,” I overheard Heidi Fielding say to some people trying to sneak by her table at this year’s Insider Tasting, “It’s not your typical rose.” She assured them.
