	Rosehall Run 2006 Chardonnay Chardonnay lovers should be thrilled to sink their teeth into, or should I say, wrap their palates around, this rich beauty from Rosehall Run in Prince Edward County. When fully aerated, the nose is full of smoky asparagus and reminiscent of buttered movie theatre popcorn (yet with far fewer calories). 	Vineland 2005 Sauv Blanc – Rosomel Vineyard This Sauv Blanc has all the usual suspects of Sauvignon Blanc – the three G’s are present: grassy, gooseberry and grapefruit … it’s fresh and crisp with lots of racy mouth-watering acidity; there’s also some orange blossom and melon flavours littered in and amongst the typicity. 	Vineland 2006 Sauvignon Blanc – Smith Vineyard Part of the four 2006 Sauvignon Blanc series currently available at Vineland … single vineyard sourced Sauv from Niagara-on-the-Lake and all stainless steel fermented and aged; this Sauv Blanc is purely terroir driven. The nose has citrus and some vanilla (?) aromas, but also along for the ride is petrol and ammonia (cat’s pee), both are very subtle but plainly there.
