	Mike Weir 2006 Pinot Gris This is a pleasing little sipper that makes no pretense at being anything else. The nose is simple, giving off apple and peach aromas. In the mouth, you’ll find the same flavours – it crisps up as it passes through, but ends with a nice soft finish … think of it as a cozy bed for your mouth – fresh crisp sheets to slide into with a soft pillow for your head.... The nose is grassy and grapefruit with a bit of floral sweetness … the mouth is anything but sweet: citrus, grapefruit cocktail, good acidity (that keeps you swallowing for days) and tons of finish … very summery....
