	Fielding Estate Winery 2005 Meritage (Reserve) I just knew it was too early to open this one when I popped the cork and a wood stave conked me on the head; but seriously, this is a monster red that needs time to settle. I tried it upon opening, then again 24 hours later, here's what I determined. Right now: woody-cedary notes, very tight nose with green pepper and black licorice ... 24 hours later: beautiful fruit nuances of plum and raspberry. 	Jackson-Triggs 2005 Grand Reserve Meritage Just recently I added the J-T 2002 Meritage onto my Lost and Found blog – I have to admit, I was not surprised that the 02 had aged very well and would continue to do so. Well, I am happy to report that I’ll be doing a Taste it Again Grape Guy in a few years on the ’05, because this one is stuffed with the signs of ageability.
