This seems to be an anti-Riesling style of Riesling ... let me explain: it's a wine that you will have to set aside your preconceived notion of what a Riesling is when you try it ... the nose conjures up Sauvignon Blanc characteristics: grapefruit, citrus and grassy notes - the palate gets more in line with typical Riesling with the mineral-talc notes along with some Mac apple, but there's also a Sauvignon Blanc type finish which gives the wine a fleshyness in the mouth - it'll confuse and delight all at the some time.
