This is truly the most interesting of the 5 Rieslings in the Cattail Creek Riesling Clonal series, and that`s because it is so different than the other 4 in the line-up. First it has a bit more sweetness but it`s not from sugar (although there is .6 more grams per/litre) ... it`s from the fruit: lots of tropicalness to this one including a definite pineapple skin aroma. Flavours continue in a tropical vein with more pineapple as well as papayaémango and guava - there`s a great balance of acidity to sweetness that makes this one downright delicious and interesting to sit and sniff.
