It's time to lock me up and throw away the key, I am officially a Cabernet Franc nut, this really is a grape Ontario does well, and even in off vintages, with proper vineyard work, we produce awesome versions of the grape. On the other hand, this one shows what a wonderful vintage can do ... 2007 was great and so is this wine; with a little patience and time you will be handsomely rewarded. Smells of cinnamon, vanilla, cedar, tobacco and cassis lead the charge; on the palate raspberry fights amongst the cedar, cinnamon and other spices for dominance - you'll also find vanilla and black cherry willing to make an appearance if you do a little coaxing.
