Another all-PEC wine from Closson Chase, a 141 case limited production wine that spent 16 months in 25% new French oak and was fermented using wild yeast ... making for a wild ride in your mouth. Ultra toasty aromas greet the nose along with butter and vanilla cream. The flavour is heavy on its barrelling so it needs time to integrate with the fruit, which at this time comes off as vanilla laced apple sauce, complete with a pleasing creaminess in the mouth.
