The first non-estate, under $20 and exclusive to Vintages (LCBO – Ontario) that has been produced at Coyote’s Run. Owner Jeff Aubry likes to think of this one as his introductory version, a jumping off where your own Pinot love affair can begin, so to speak. The nose is sour cherry with spice, while the palate is just as simple but even more tasty, doling out sour cherry, sour raspberry and strawberry along with those well needed spices on the finish to keep all that fruit in check. Nice length and acidity makes this one a great starter, or straight sipping, Pinot. Price: $19.95 – Rating: *** ½+
