What the heck is Malbec doing in the vineyards of Ontario? That’s a question to be answered at another time, but suffice it to say it’s there … and now let’s look at one of the resulting wines from that planting decision. Nose hints at sour patch candy dusted with cinnamon and vanilla; palate shows an interesting dichotomy between the sweet and sour of raspberry and cherry fruit with acidity kicking in for some balance.
