This is the best John Howard Cellars (ie: Megalomaniac) wine I have tasted in quite some time, it would be nice to see this winery on an uptick. I expected more minerality and more acidity on this wine - given the year and location of the grapes being sourced - but there's a talc presence that reminded me of German Riesling so I was intrigued. Nice apple blossom, lemonade and talc-like minerality. Price: $17.95 - Rating: *** 1/2+
