Norm doesn't shy away from the origins of his fruit, in fact he's fiercely proud that he works so well with his growers in Niagara. This Riesling is a 50/50 blend of both regions' offerings - it has a beautifully sweet nose of apple and peach with a touch of stony mineral. The palate really shows the mineral and adds a lovely green apple and lemon note along with some well-balanced acidity. There's great fruit to mineral balance, though I found the finish a little shorter than I wanted, because you'll just want these flavours to linger. Price: $21.00 - Rating: ****+
