At the recent Cool Climate Chardonnay World Tour held at Ontario`s very own Tawse winery as part of the International Cool Climate Chardonnay Celebration, I got a chance to try a wine not available in stores, at wine shops or anywhere else near you. It's made by Francois Morissette at Pearl Morissette winery in Niagara ... it's a limited production batch of Chardonnay made only in vintages that dictate a good wine can be made. This is a real beauty loaded with aromas and flavours: creamy peach, pear puree, apple sauce, vanilla, butter and all balanced by some real nice acidity. Price: $45.00 - Rating: ****+
