While tasting this wine alongside Chardonnay lover Peter Gamble, consultant to Ravine, I admitted to him that I am not a fan of Chateau-Two-by-Four and that wines like that have jaded my opinion of the grape making me part of the ABC crowd (Anything but Chardonnay). He just smiled, as if to say "wait till you try this one" ... and his knowing smirk was right. This Chardonnay melded everything one loves about well-made Chardonnay together. A fruit driven nose and palate with lots of tropical notes, but with a nice creamy mouth-feel that delivers the right amount of vanilla undertones. Rich and delicious ... a pure Chardonnay delight.
