With all the hype around Chardonnay you'd sometimes believe that's all we can make in Ontario. Some winemakers would be okay with that, including one Dan Sullivan of Rosehall Run - because he does a great job with the variety year-in and year-out. This '09 version has a creamy mouthfeel with flavours of vanilla and peach and a nice buttery sensation on the long finish. The 12-14 months of new French oak is well-integrated.
