Buring Kiln does not try to hide it's dried grape style of winemaking, in fact, it's right there in their name. This Riesling has 20% dried berries - all done in tobacco kilns. The nose seems like it doesn't even notice the drying with pleasant pear aromas wafting from the glass - but the palate more than figures it out: lemon drop candy and lime pith make up a majority of the flavours with a thicker than usual mouthfeel and lingering finish.
